About The Program:
All organizations strive to excel in every facets of work that they deliver. To have your organization’s name amongst the best of the best is a goal each leader wants to accomplish. There are simple and creative approaches that can be done to achieve success in those arenas. Franklin will share the tools and techniques he is employing in his role as Program Manager at a local healthcare organization to go from good to great.

About the Speaker:

Franklin Allen is a Program Manager with Rochester Regional Health. In his role, Franklin partners with system and hospital leaders to delivering strategic direction and training to promote a patient and family-centered culture with long-lasting positive results. Franklin brings to Rochester Regional Health over 20 years of health care experience and a track record of operational and service excellence. Over his career, he has worked for Eastman Kodak Company, Highland Hospital and Press Ganey Associates.



Franklin has the proven ability to successfully improve patient and staff satisfaction. Under Franklin’s leadership, his departments have excelled and increased employee satisfaction, decreased patient flow throughput times, and consistently maintained high courtesy measures within the Press Ganey database. He co-authored a case study entitled, “Elimination of clostridium difficile by illumination? Surface disinfection by ultraviolet light treatment,” with members of his Infection Prevention team. He was awarded the distinction of being named the Leader of Excellence at Highland Hospital in 2010.



Franklin has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. He also earned certification from The Academy for Healthcare Leadership Advancement, a collaboration between The Johnson School at Cornell University and the Healthcare Association of New York State (HANYS). In addition, he is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a TeamSTEPPS Master Trainer.
